This is a brilliant option if you want to be a part of a community and enjoy a competitive environment. CrossFit Ceylon does small group classes offering a variety of exercises. Once you become a member, it is very affordable. This has become a hugely popular place to work out; they foster a real community, involving the children as well in various activities. Look out for their yoga classes too. It is worth noting that CrossFit is an International phenomenon so wherever you go in the world this gym is a great link for continuation.

2. High Octane

This is great if you want a good variety of group fitness classes and spin classes. The gym space is huge, and the machinery is high end. They’ve also got a shake shack (not the burger joint) where you can have a custom made protein shake.

3. Fitness Connection

This is an excellent gym with the latest machines. The Gym is split into two sections, for cardio and weight exercise. They’ve got an onsite spin studio and a space for stretching and Zumba. The staff are well-trained and attentive. They have a climbing wall for adventurers. T&T highly recommends this as a daily gym with all the equipment you need.

4. Train Yard Studios

TrainYard Studios is a brand-new gym that opened at the One Galle Face Mall in just November 2019. They have a promising group of trainers and three dynamic studios that host a variety of fitness classes that include HIIT, TRX, Cycle and even Aerial Yoga.
